Bill Hutton Surie was born in Bushey, Hertfordshire in 1969. He moved to Spain when he was 18 where he worked as a beach club promoter before following love over to Canada where he sold frozen food door to door.  

After a varied career and chequered love life he settled down running a recruitment consultancy and married his wife Bonnie with whom he has one daughter and an assortment of pets.

Bill wrote Holly's Inbox under the pseudonym Holly Denham which was published in 2007 shortly followed by Holly's Inbox: Scandal In the City.
