Catriona Innes

Catriona Innes is a multifaceted writer, from her award-winning journalism to writing both non-fiction and fiction, under her own name and as part of ghost writing collaborations. Her romcom novel, The Matchmaker was released in 2019, and she’s currently working on her second. She has also collaborated with well-known influencers and celebrities, on two non-fiction projects.

For the past eight years she’s worked at Cosmopolitan, the UK’s number one media brand for young women, writing, editing and commissioning the long-read investigations. This work has seen her investigate and write about a huge number of topics, often throwing herself directly into the story. In the past year she has spent time shadowing porn stars on their sets to discover what women really want and need from porn, and travelled the country meeting young women grappling with ketamine addiction.
