Daisy Wood
Agent: Broo Doherty
Daisy Wood studied English at Bristol University, then worked in children’s publishing for several years before starting to write stories of her own – first for a packager under the name of Lucy Daniels, followed by the successful Party Girls series for Hodder under her own name, Jennie Walters, and the Swallowcliffe Hall historical series for Simon & Schuster. She then studied for a novel writing MA at City University, winning the annual prize for the first draft of what became What We Did in the War, published by Bloodhound Books in 2024. Since then, she’s had four dual timeline historical novels published by Avon Books as Daisy Wood (her grandmother’s name), and she is currently writing the fifth.
Daisy divides her time between London and Dorset, and when not writing/researching, spends time dog walking, cooking (she started making sourdough in lockdown and hasn’t stopped), gardening and scrolling aimlessly through her phone. She has a husband, two grown-up sons, two and a half dogs (grandpuppy) and the best cat in the world.
