Hazel Osmond's book, Who's Afraid of Mr Wolfe? was shortlisted for Romantic Comedy of the Year by the RNA in 2012 and her 2016 novel, The Mysterious Miss Mayhew was selected by New Writing North for their Read Regional Campaign.

​In addition, Hazel writes short stories and her successes include winning the 2008 Woman & Home short story competition sponsored by Costa and the 2009 Yeovil Short Story Prize. Her stories have also been published in a number of magazines.

Hazel's new book is the story of Ali Clarke, a woman who is scared of just about everything. Dragged on holiday to Australia by her sister, she's forced to face up to her biggest fear - and deal with one that even she didn't see coming.
