Jennifer Jones is a soil scientist, nature writer and children’s author. She is passionate about the natural world and embeds elements of this in all that she writes. Based in north-west England she is a frequent visitor to North Wales, and the Lake District. She is a passionate bird watcher and is on the Committee of RSPB Liverpool. Jennifer is currently an Honorary Research Fellow at Liverpool John Moores University and is on the Education Committee of the British Society of Soil Science.
