Kandace Siobhan Walker is a writer and artist. She is the author of Kaleido and Cowboy, shortlisted for the Felix Dennis Prize for Best First Collection. In 2019, her story Deep Heart won the Guardian 4th Estate BAME Short Story Prize. In 2021, she was the winner of The White Review Poet's Prize and the recipient of an Eric Gregory Award. In 2022, she was awarded a Wales Venice 10 Commission by Artes Mundi. She lives in London.
