Kirsten Hesketh

Kirsten has a degree in geography from Cambridge University and a background in advertising and marketing. She now runs her own qualitative research consultancy where she gets paid to be nosey! Over the past 30 years, she has interviewed the Great British public on everything from Rolos to razors and Viagra to vacuum cleaners and loves winkling out interesting and little-known nuggets to inform and entertain.

Kirsten writes under three names; contemporary fiction as Kirsten Hesketh and saga fiction as both Poppy Cooper and Kirsty Dougal. Married with a son, a daughter and two exceptionally fluffy moggies, Kirsten is a keen amateur archaeologist and loves to spend her weekends getting muddy on a local Roman dig. She also loves walking and is a staunch supporter of Wycombe Wanderers - especially when they are winning!
