Lauren du Plessis

Lauren du Plessis is a writer based in a patch of bluebells in the British countryside, where she lives with her partner and cat. After studying Art followed by Literature at university, her career has been an eclectic journey through marketing and narrative design, mostly in the gaming industry.

Lauren’s fiction is often concerned with coming-of-age journeys, explored through her characters’ mental health, relationships, and bodies. With nods towards fabulism, literary horror and speculative fiction, her short stories have appeared in Mslexia, Shooter, Litro Online, and others.
