Maddie Please was born in Dorset and now lives in rural Devon with her wonderful husband. 

She likes the Bourne films, Christmas, America, cruises and writing. In her spare time she likes watching American boxsets, thinking about holidays and drinking red wine. 

Her debut The Summer of Second Chances was published by Avon HC in July 2017 and was an Amazon Humour bestseller in the UK & Australia. 

A Year of New Adventures followed in February 2018. A transatlantic crossing on the beautiful Cunard ship Queen Mary 2 led to her third book Come Away With Me in August 2018. 

Her fourth book, The Mini Break, set in Devon and London was published in March 2019. 

All her stories are uplifting romantic comedies with a steep learning curve for her characters, reflecting the sometimes confusing experiences of today's women (and men).
