The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown, out this Thursday from Transworld, had a fabulous week and we were delighted to see that it was selected as February Staff Pick from AppleBooks, included in the Guardian's best recent SFF roundup and picked up a lovely review from Woman & Home:

James Goodhand

Another cover revealed this week was for James Goodhand's debut adult novel, The Day Tripper (Black & White, March 2024.

In other brilliant news for the book, it was included in Men's Health's 30 most anticipated science-fiction and fantasy books for 2024!

Claire Wilson

Our next cover reveal this week comes in the form of the debut crime novel from Claire WilsonFive By Five (Penguin Michael Joseph, August 2024).

Eva Björg Ægisdóttir

Eva Björg Ægisdóttir was awarded the Blood Drop Award for her novel Home Before Dark (Heim Fyrir Myrkur)​. 

Blood Drop is the prize for the best crime novel in Iceland 2023, and the book will now be nominated for Iceland's Glass Key Awards. The prize was awarded on live TV along with the literary prize.

Richard Swan

The third book in Richard Swan's 'Empire of the Wolf' trilogy, The Trials of Empire, was published last week in hardback, eBook and audiobook. 

Sir Konrad Vonvalt - the most powerful and feared of the Emperor's Justices - must finally face the dark powers that seek to destroy the Empire.

Lizzie Huxley Jones

Congratulations to Lizzie Huxley Jones, whose children's book Vivi Conway and the Sword of Legend, was been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize in the 'Younger Readers' category. 

Chosen by knowledgeable and passionate booksellers from the very beginning, the shortlist is now in its twentieth year. The overall winner and three category winners will be announced on Thursday 21 March.

Victoria Selman

Our final cover reveal this week comes in the form of the paperback cover for Victoria Selman's All the Little Liars! It will be published by Quercus in August 2024.



Additionally, the Hungarian rights for the book were sold last week to Publish & More.

Caroline MacFarlane

A very warm welcome to new client, Caroline MacFarlane, who joined the Agency last week. 

Caroline, a secondary school English teacher, lives in Scotland with her family and will be working with Broo Doherty on her debut, Tomorrow Is Gold​.
