Rebecca Thorne

Rebecca wanted to write novels from the moment she read her first Stephen King book, aged eight, and soon graduated onto the works of Poe, Susan Hill, Shirley Jackson and Wilkie Collins. After reading her way through the entire classics section of the school library, she went on to study English Literature at university and now works as a reader for Faber Academy.

Aside from reading and writing, her main passions include yoga, hiking, cycling, great cinema, fine food and drinking the best Scotch whisky she can get her hands on.

She lives in the West Country and divides her time between the Mendip Hills and Bristol. She has written two best-selling novels under the name Rebecca Tinnelly: Never Go There and Don't Say A Word, both published with Hodder.

Her new book, The Grief House (the first under Rebecca Thorne) will be published by Bloomsbury Raven in late 2023.
