Lost in the faraway lands of Enid Blyton as a child, Sarah knew she wanted to either write or become a vet. As often is the case, life had an alternative ideas and she went on to achieve a first class honours degree in Psychology instead.

From here she studied at post-graduate level to specialise in mental health, including working within neuropsychology at a Brain Rehabilitation Hospital, which was positively life-changing. For the last ten years she has managed her mental health consultancy including working within the family court system supporting families through challenging times. 

Three years ago, she relocated with her husband three children to a favourite childhood haunt - Cornwall. It is here she has now settled to write, often to be found in a cafe on the beach, hogging a sea view table with her German Shepherd and laptop.
