Chris Merritt

Chris Merritt is a clinical psychologist and former diplomat. As a member of the British foreign service (FCDO), he completed postings in Jerusalem and Iraq, and travelled widely in Europe and the Middle East.
 
Chris has also worked as a therapist in the NHS, specialising in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) while completing his doctorate in clinical psychology. He currently consults for a cyber-security company, advising clients on psychological factors in insider risk, industrial espionage, and cyber-crime.
 
He is the author of eight thrillers whose themes span terrorism, organised crime, serial killers, and psychology. He lives in London with his civil partner and their son, and enjoys climbing in his spare time.
