Eve Seymour

Congratulations to E. V. Seymour, whose latest heart-pounding psychological thriller, My Lying Husband, was published in eBook and print-on-demand last week.

Louise Beech

In 2007, when Louise Beech's daughter, Katy, was just seven she was diagnosed with diabetes which meant she needed regular injections of insulin to stay alive - but by the time she was ten, she'd had enough. So her mum made a bargain with her - if she could tell her a good enough story, Katy would agree to have her injections. The story Louise chose was an amazing one - the true story of her grandfather's shipwreck in World War Two.

Jon Ransom

Jon Ransom's second novel, The Gallopers* (Muswell Press, January 2024), was chosen as the Guardian's Book of the Day last week.

“This is a lust-drenched, ache-filled gay love triangle of sorts that gnarls into a sly emotional thriller … The Gallopers is a whispered howl of a novel about men fettered by masculine norms, the ideas that curtail their freedom.”

The Daily Express selected M. W. Craven's forthcoming new Washington Poe book, The Mercy Chair, as one of the books it was most looking forward to in 2024, hailing it part of "one of Britain's finest and most inventive crime series."
