Trigger signs LGBTQ+ midlife wellness guide

Trigger Publishing has signed a 'landmark' wellness title by coach and mentor Dr Paul Taylor-Pitt. Still Here! Still Queer! Now What?: A Guide to LGBTQ+ Wellness and Wholeness will be a self help book for mid-life queer people. Soraya Nair bought world rights from Abi Fellows, for publication in October 2025.

The book will draw on interviews with almost 100 middle-aged people from across the LGBTQ+ community, and will blend techniques from coaching, psychology, philosophy, art, culture and queer magic. It is designed 'to create a practical process for re-connecting people to their queer wholeness'.

Taylor-Pitt said: "This book is a portrait of courage, resilience and authenticity. It is a love letter to those who helped us live more truthfully. It is a tribute to the first generation of people who have been able to live fully and wholly ourselves, despite exclusion, misunderstanding and rejection. Above all, the book is a call to action and invitation for us to remember and reclaim the power and wholeness that have always been inside us. It is a promise of hope that we might find ways to thrive into our elderhood. This is not just a book, it is a celebration that we are still here, still queer and have the chance to live with renewed purpose and pride."

Nair said: "I am thrilled to have signed Dr Paul Taylor-Pitt's upcoming book, Still Here! Still Queer! Now What?, for Trigger Publishing. It's going to be a great self-help book for mid-life queer people from all sectors of the LGBTQIA+ community. Thank you Paul and Abi Fellows for entrusting Trigger with this project."

Fellows said: “I am so proud to be associated with this vital book and hugely excited about all the people that people it will help."
