Ryan David Jahn

Ryan David Jahn is the author of seven novels, including the award-winning Acts of Violence and The Dispatcher, which is being adapted for television by Apple TV. He also wrote All This Distant Beauty, a short story selected for inclusion in The Best American Mystery Stories for 2020.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Maine at Presque Isle and a master’s degree in political science from Eastern Illinois University.

He currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife Jessica and two daughters, Francine and Matilda.
