Sean Lusk

Sean is a short story glutton, devouring the form in all its glory from Gogol to Paley and all dishes in between.

He is winner of the 2015 Manchester Fiction Prize and the 2017 Fish Short Story Prize for Dead Souls, inspired by a visit to Gogol's house in Moscow. His debut novel is The Second Sight of Zachary Cloudesley

Much of his career has been spent working as a civil servant in the UK government encouraging long-term thinking with, at best, limited success. He has lived and worked in England, Pakistan, Egypt and South Africa and, more recently, in rural Greece.
