Congratulations to Lizzie Huxley-Jones, whose children’s book, Vivi Conway and the Sword of Legend (Knights Of, June 2023)*, has been shortlisted for the Tir na n-Og Award, which are the oldest awards for children's literature in Wales and are held every year by the Books Council of Wales, supported by CILIP Cymru Wales.

Chris & Jen Sugden

The debut novel from Chris & Jen Sugden, High Vaultage (Gollancz), was published last week.

The Sugdens are the creators and hosts of the podcast Victoriocity, and their debut novel is a hilarious and adventurous novel set in ‘the most chaotic city in history’.

Beth Lewis

Viper Books have snapped up World Rights to two new books by Wolf Road author, Beth Lewis.

Miranda Jewess bought the rights to The Rush plus one as-yet-untitled novel, from David H Headley.

The Rush, set during the Gold Rush in Canada, 1898, will be published in June 2025.

Harry Illingworth

Finally, we’re incredibly proud of and happy for our colleague and one of the Directors of DHH, Harry Illingworth, who has been shortlisted for Literary Agent of the Year at this year’s British Book Awards!
