Happy publication day to Eleni Kyriacou, who last week saw the paperback release of The Unspeakable Acts of Zina Pavlou* (Head of Zeus, November 2023).

The book was a pick for the recent series of Between the Covers on BBC2.

We were thrilled last week when we heard the news that M. W. Craven has been longlisted for the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year AwardP 2024 for Fearless (Constable, June 2023), the first in his series featuring Ben Koenig.

Elizabeth Lovatt

Dialogue Books has acquired Elizabeth’s Lovatt non-fiction book, Thank You For Calling the Lesbian Line*, based on a real 90s lesbian helpline and due to be published in February 2025.

The deal was negotiated by Abi Fellows and all translation, American and screen rights are held by DHH.

Ragnar Jónasson

Also published last week was the paperback for Ragnar Jónasson and Katrín JAkobsdóttir’s joint-venture, Reykjavík (Michael Joseph).

The Chemist plus one untitled book, were acquired by HQ in a deal negotiated by David H Headley. The Chemist is the first in a planned series and will publish in spring 2025.
